Position: Lead Engineer - Trims Engineering CoE

Location: Chennai, Chennai-MRV, IN

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:

Understand project requirements as per program milestones (Any OEM Product development gateway systems).
Support project delivery related to engineering and design from kick-off to implementation, including QFD, benchmarking, feature analysis, engineering, drawing and model preparation release, CAE and physical validation support, development implementation support, DFMEA, DVP.
Provide CAD support for engineering proposals preparation in consultation with internal and external (supplier) experts.
Release drawings and models with system engineer.
Prepare Bill of Material.
Provide support to CDMM and other implementation teams for part development and quality initiatives.

Experience:

2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Trims.

Industry Preferred:

Automotive Industry.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.

General Requirements:
