Brief Information
The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) invites applications for the position of Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMO) on a contractual basis with fixed hourly remuneration. Eligible candidates can apply before 24-01-2025.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: MBBS degree in the allopathic system of medicine from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India. Candidates with a postgraduate degree in General Medicine can also apply.
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Practitioner in a hospital or clinic.
- Location Criteria: The candidate should have a dispensary or residence within a 3-5 km radius of NABARD premises at the specified location.
Remuneration & Duty Hours

Contract Details
- Initial contract period of 5 years, renewable up to 70 years based on performance.
- Annual renewals possible beyond 70 years until the age of 75, subject to mutual agreement and medical fitness.
- Contract can be terminated with one month's notice by either side.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide medical attention and advice to NABARD staff.
- Ensure substitute arrangements during absences.
- Be available "on call" during Bank holidays for emergencies.
- Maintain confidentiality of NABARD’s affairs.
