Job Description: Roles & Responsibilities

Asian Paints is seeking a dedicated and skilled Executive N-QA to join our team in Visakhapatnam. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Chemical, Petrochemical, or Polymer and 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate modern analytical instruments such as GC, HPLC, FTIR, Particle Size Analyzer, pH meters, and Melting Point Tester.
• Possess strong knowledge of raw materials and their roles.
• Conduct daily inspection and testing of raw materials and intermediates.
• Manage the rejection process for raw materials, if necessary.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Provide job-specific training to temporary workers and apprentices.
• Prepare quality records and month-end performance reports.
• Conduct Tool Box Talks to ensure team safety.
• Perform daily safety rounds, note abnormalities, and ensure corrections.
• Coordinate with other sections to resolve issues.
• Maintain proper machine and shop floor hygiene.
• Raise Breakdown Notifications in Maintain/SAP as needed.
• Update Environmental/Quality records during shifts.
• Execute required transactions and process records in SAP.
• Plan for and monitor the availability of consumables; raise requisitions and monitor stock levels.
• Perform stock taking as required.
• Ensure machine availability for preventive maintenance/calibration.
• Reuse paint/emulsion when applicable.
• Post waste declarations in SAP.
• Ensure compliance with Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS).
• Update the Senior Officer on shift progress and section issues.
• Generate month-end standardization MIS reports for water-based paints and emulsions.
• Conduct data analysis for improvement opportunities, monthly sectional reviews, AIG analysis, trend analysis, raw material addition accuracy analysis, and manufacturing efficiency analysis.
• Raise SFI and DCR as needed.
• Conduct process assurance audits across sections.
