We invite applications from qualified Indian citizens for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a SERB-sponsored project. The selected candidate will contribute to the project titled:

Project Title: Simulation of Relativistic Astrophysical Flow Problems using Modern Efficient Stable Schemes

Position Details:

• Number of Positions: One (01)
• Project Duration: Three (03) years
• Salary/Emoluments: As per SERB norms (₹ 37,000 per month* for JRF, ₹ 42,000 per month* for SRF)

Essential Qualifications:

• M.Sc. in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics or M.Tech. degree with a good knowledge of mathematics or any equivalent degree with a minimum aggregate score of 60%.
• Candidates are preferred with NET/GATE.
• Desirable qualifications include proficiency in any programming language and strong communication skills.

Appointment and Performance Review:

The position is for three years, and there is a possibility of promotion to Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the third year. Additionally, successful candidates will be encouraged to apply for the institute's regular PhD program.
