Job Location: Pilani
Job Purpose:
The Assistant Manager – Alumni Relations will be responsible for coordinating the financial operations of the division. This role involves managing a large amount of individual funds deployed in various projects throughout the year. The position requires expertise in expense management, ledger management, bill passing, Tally, and exposure to treasury management.
Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Processing of Alumni & BITSAA funded Fellowship/Scholarship/Awards/Projects by coordinating with Internal BITS offices
- Coordinating for Fixed Deposit making, breaking, renewal in a timely manner with the best interest rates available and projecting upcoming expenses
- Processing ledger expenses, tracking fund disbursement in various banks, and preparing/utilizing certificates/reports
- Developing and managing data regarding donation budgets, deposits, disbursements, and grant reporting
- Maintaining recurring postings, Payables and Receivables, performing reconciliation
- Maintaining accounting data, designing MIS, and generating reports as per donor requirements
- Responding to Alumni queries related to Tax receipt, donations, etc.
- Undertaking any other responsibilities assigned by the Alumni Relations Team
Qualification and Personal Profile:
- CA Inter/M. Com with 5 years or B. Com with 15 years of relevant experience in accounts and finance functions
- Experience in bill passing, expense management, journal entries, etc.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and Tally ERP
- Demonstrated expertise in documentation, especially MS Office
- Educational institution or university experience would be a plus
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
Remuneration:
A suitable candidate will be placed on a CTC of up to Rs. 10 Lac p.a. In addition, appropriate housing facilities will be provided within the campus, based on availability.
Note: The Director may consider relaxation of experience requirements in case of exceptional qualifications or experience.
