Understanding the NEET UG Exam Pattern

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) is one of the most prestigious entrance exams for medical aspirants in India. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) across four subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Below is the detailed exam pattern for NEET UG.

Pattern of the NEET UG Test

The NEET UG test pattern comprises four subjects. Each subject will have two sections:

The total number of questions and time utilization will remain the same. The detailed distribution of marks is as follows:

Total Marks: 720

Each question will carry 4 marks. The candidates will be penalized with a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer. Unanswered questions will not carry any marks.
