Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer
- Location: Sriperumbudur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Work Mode: Work from Office
- Shift Timing: Rotational Shift
Key Responsibilities

Technical Support
- Provide Level 1 (L1) support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Address incidents and service requests via phone calls, emails, or IT ticketing systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, including operating system issues, application errors, and network connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and update Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Assist employees with email configurations, VPN access, and remote troubleshooting.
- Support Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory (password resets, account lockouts), and enterprise applications.

User Support & Communication
- Provide both remote and in-person IT support to employees.
- Ensure clear and professional communication while updating users on issue resolution.
- Educate employees on IT policies, security best practices, and troubleshooting guidelines.

Documentation & Reporting
- Log all incidents and service requests in the IT Service Management (ITSM) system.
- Maintain accurate documentation of common IT issues and solutions.
- Escalate complex technical issues to L2/L3 support teams when necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Technical Expertise:
- Hands-on experience in desktop/laptop troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Windows, Mac OS, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Knowledge of basic networking, Active Directory, and VPN configurations.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
