The Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) is a state-level examination conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh. Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class 10 (SSC) or an equivalent exam with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- Eligibility for SSC Students: Students appearing for Class 10 exams are also eligible.
- Age Limit: No age restriction for the exam.

Exam Structure and Syllabus
The syllabus for AP POLYCET is based on the SSC Examination syllabus prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh. The question paper consists of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into three sections:
- Mathematics: 50 marks (Questions 1โ50)
- Physics: 40 marks (Questions 51โ90)
- Chemistry: 30 marks (Questions 91โ120)
The exam is conducted in a pen-and-paper (offline) mode and is available in both English and Telugu. Each correct answer carries one mark, and there is no negative marking.
