ADVERTISEMENT FOR ENGAGEMENT OF APPRENTICES

TERMINAL BALLISTICS RESEARCH LABORATORY

SECTOR-30, CHANDIGARH-160 030

Under the provisions of Apprentices Act, 1961, Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory invites applications for engagement of Apprenticeship for one-year training in the following disciplines/trades:

13.	Mechanic (Motor Vehicle)
14.	Turner
15.	Carpenter

Qualification:

ITI pass in respective trades

Salary:

Rs. 7,700/- to Rs. 8,050/-

Application Procedure:

1. Apply through NAPS portal at apprenticeshipindia.org. Upload all required documents.
2. Email scanned copies of documents to admintbrl.tbri@gov.in.
3. Application deadline: 22-03-2024. Late/incomplete applications not accepted.

Selection Procedure:

1. Shortlisting based on merit (qualifying exam marks).
2. In case of tie, lower exam marks considered.
3. Shortlisted candidates notified via email/SMS/phone.

General Instructions:

1. Apprenticeship offer doesn't guarantee DRDO/TBRL employment.
2. Report to TBRL, Ramgarh Range, if selected.
3. Minimum age: 14 years (closing date).
4. Technician (ITI) Apprentice: Register on NAPS portal for application.
5. Post-graduates ineligible.
6. Regularly check emails during selection.
7. Reservation per Apprenticeship Act, 1961. SC/ST/OBC specify category.
8. Original caste certificates required during joining.
9. Suppression of facts leads to disqualification.
10. Medical Fitness Certificate mandatory at joining.
11. No accommodation/transport provided.
12. Stipend as per Apprentice Act, 1961.
13. Character verification conducted.
14. TBRL may modify apprentice posts.
15. Unauthorized absence >15 days results in termination.
16. No TA/DA provided for joining.
17. One-year training contract for selected candidates.
18. Attempt to influence selection process leads to cancellation.
19. TBRL's decision final in disputes.
