Walk-in Interview
CSIR - National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), Pune, is a premier institute under the aegis of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.
Walk-in interviews are scheduled at CSIR-NCL, Pune for the engagement as Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 and the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 (amended in 2014 and 2019). The details of the positions are given below.

Eligibility Criteria:
Essential Qualification: The candidate must be ITI passed in relevant trade from NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training).
Age: Maximum 24 years as on 15.03.2024. Relaxation in upper age limit as per Government guidelines by 5 years for SC/ST, up to 03 years for OBC (Non-Creamy layer) subject to production of relevant OBC Non-Creamy layer Certificate in the prescribed Government of India (GOI) format signed by the Competent Authority. Ex-Servicemen upper age limit is relaxed up to an additional 10 years to the extent of service rendered in Defence Forces.
Interested candidates fulfilling the above criteria are required to attend the walk-in interview as per the schedule mentioned below:

Trade Apprentice: Community Centre, CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory
Date: Wednesday, 27.03.2024
Reporting Time: 08:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Venue: In front of SBI, Dr. Homi Bhabha Road, Pashan Road, Pune - 411 008
No candidates will be allowed to enter the venue after the reporting time.
General Instructions:
- Candidates must bring the following documents (in original and 2 sets of photocopies, self-attested):
- Matriculation/10th/SSC Mark Sheet & Certificate
- Birth Certificate
- ITI passing certificate
- PAN Card
- Aadhaar Card
- Two passport size photographs
- Caste Certificate (if belongs to SC/ST/OBC (NCL))
- The benefit of reservation under EWS can be availed upon production of an income and asset certificate issued by Competent Authority.
- Qualifying Service Certificate for Ex-Servicemen; if applicable
- PwBD Certificate; if applicable
- Other relevant documents; if any
- Trade apprentices who will be offered apprenticeship must register themselves on https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in, and then only their candidature will be considered for final registration by CSIR-NCL, Pune. This will be the sole responsibility of the concerned candidate to register themselves on the Apprenticeship India portal.
- Candidates are advised to periodically visit the website. Any change/amendment/further correspondence/updates in respect of advertisement no. NCL/C&P/ Apprentice/001/2024 shall be published on https://www.ncl-india.org.
- Candidates holding ITI mark sheet/certificate are only eligible. Those candidates awaiting their mark sheet/certificate are NOT eligible for walk-in-interview for the abovementioned apprentice training.
