DRDO – Advanced Systems Laboratory (ASL) Recruitment Notification

ENGAGEMENT OF GRADUATE, TECHNICIAN AND TRADE APPRENTICES
(Under The Apprentices Act 1961 as amended in 1961, 1973 & 2014)

Advanced Systems Laboratory (ASL), Hyderabad, a premier Laboratory at APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex of Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), is seeking applications from young and meritorious Indian Nationals for Engagement of Graduate, Technician (Diploma), and Trade (ITI) Apprentices for one year. Selection will be made based on Academic Merit / Written Test / Interview as required.

Category and Essential Qualifications:

1. Graduate Apprentices (Total: 15 No.)

   • Degree in Mechanical Engineering: 9 positions (Stipend: ₹9000)
   • Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering: 4 positions
   • Degree in Computer Science & Engineering: 2 positions

2. Technician (Diploma) Apprentices (Total: 10 No.)

   • Diploma Mechanical Engineering: 5 positions (Stipend: ₹8000)
   • Diploma Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electronics Engineering: 5 positions

3. Trade (ITI) Apprentices (Total: 65 No.)

   • ITI in Fitter: 33 positions (Stipend: ₹7000)
   • ITI in Electrician: 12 positions
   • ITI in Electronic Mechanic: 6 positions
   • ITI in Turner: 5 positions
   • ITI in COPA: 5 positions
   • ITI in Machinist: 4 positions

Application Procedures:

Interested candidates meeting the essential qualifications are required to submit their duly filled application in the enclosed prescribed format in a closed envelope super scribed with “APPLICATION FOR APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING AT ASL” through registered/speed post addressed to The Director, Advanced Systems Laboratory (ASL), Kanchanbagh PO, Hyderabad-500058.

Application form can be downloaded from the website www.drdo.gov.in. Candidates should fill the Application form by Typing, affix a Passport size photograph, and sign in the Application Form.

Important Notes:

• Incomplete or partially filled applications will not be accepted.
• Marks obtained in the qualifying exam should be mentioned in percentage. In case of CGPA, candidates are requested to convert the CGPA into a percentage as per their institute/university norms.
• Last date for the receipt of application: 15 Days from the publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.
