KNRUHS Announces Admission for MBBS and BDS Courses Under Competent Authority Quota for 2024-25
Warangal, Telangana, August 4, 2024 - Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana, Warangal, has officially announced the commencement of online applications for admission into MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2024-25 under the Competent Authority Quota. Eligible candidates who have secured the cutoff scores or above in NEET UG-2024 can now apply for these courses in Government and Private Medical & Dental Colleges affiliated with KNRUHS, Warangal.
Key Dates and Application Process
The online registration process will be open from 6:00 AM on August 4, 2024, until 6:00 PM on August 13, 2024. Candidates must visit the official website https://tsmedadm.tsche.in to register and upload the required scanned original certificates. The provisional final merit position will be determined based on the NEET UG-2024 rank and other eligibility criteria.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission, candidates must:
- Be Indian Nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders.
- Have completed their education in Telangana for at least four consecutive years or resided in the state for four years preceding the qualifying examination.
- Have passed the Intermediate (10+2 pattern) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English, securing the required percentage in science subjects:
- General Category: 50%
- BC/SC/ST: 40%
- OC PWD: 45%
- Have qualified in NEET UG-2024 with the following cutoff scores:
- General/EWS: 50th Percentile (162 marks)
- SC/ST/BC & PWD (SC/ST/BC): 40th Percentile (127 marks)
- PWD (OC): 45th Percentile (144 marks)
- Be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2024.

Applicants must upload the following documents in PDF format (500 KB each, except where specified):
- NEET UG-2024 Rank Card
- Birth Certificate (SSC Marks Memo)
- Qualifying Exam Certificate (Intermediate Marks Memo or Equivalent)
- Study Certificates from IX to SSC
- Study Certificates for Intermediate or equivalent for 2 Years
- Transfer Certificate
- Latest Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Minority Certificate (Muslim Only, if applicable)
- EWS Certificate for 2024-25 (if applicable)
- Latest Parental Income Certificate (if applicable)
- NCC Certificate (if applicable, 1500 KB)
- CAP Certificate (if applicable, 1000 KB)
- PMC Certificate (if applicable)
- Anglo Indian Certificate (if applicable)
- Residence Certificate (if not studied in Educational Institutions)
- Aadhar Card
- Latest passport size Photo (jpg/jpeg, 100 KB)
- Specimen Signature (jpg/jpeg, 100 KB)
Registration and Processing Fee
- OC & BC candidates: Rs. 3500 (plus bank transaction charges)
- SC/ST candidates: Rs. 2900 (plus bank transaction charges)
Fees can be paid online via Debit card, Credit card, or Net Banking. Please note that the fee is non-refundable.
Important Notes
- Ensure all mandatory certificates are uploaded correctly; incomplete applications will be rejected.
- The University will verify all submitted certificates, and provisional merit positions do not guarantee admission.
- Admissions are subject to the scrutiny of documents and fulfillment of eligibility criteria as per the regulations and relevant government orders.
